Perinn antenna stolen
I need some quick help. Basically, they came and tried to take it and ended up snapping it so it hung. Then, I guess out of spite a few days later came and just snapped it off completely.

I didn't install it, so i'm not sure what to do at this point. Basically, there is some kind of metal gasket / clip thing - and some broken plastic around the base. Did they really mess me up or can I just buy a replacement antenna? I have no radio reception at this point, kind of sucks.

PS. Screw people.

If you do get another one put some Loctite on it so its a little harder for them to take.

man i would be putting some kind of really sensitive alarm on there. more than likely they that wont be the only thing that happens to it now that someone did that but who knows. sorry to hear about your bad luck man

Sounds like you need to replace the antenna base. Happened to me almost 3 years ago. You can order the base from mitsubishiparts.net

i had my perrin shorty antenna stolen when i was at school/work. i got pissed, but luckily they didnt mess up my base like they did to yours. sorry to hear that.

It's an antenna, why would someone want to steal it so bad? I mean hell, there are tons if S2000s around, why don't people steal those antennas?

What, because it says, 'Perrin' on it? **** off.

I thought about this as well. But it looks like that would cause the OP's problem. Because it didn't screw off, they snapped it.

You should head your way on over to honda and grab one off of a s2000.

Or be nice and not steal one from an s2000 just go buy one from a honda dealer

Lets face everyone hates their **** stolen wheather it be a honda or mitsu. dont stoop to the theifs level.
