You must get the HKS EIDS to cure that stalling/idling problem. The cause of the problem is the HKS BOV is not a perfect match with Evo 7 and up. The EIDS is the compromise.

i had the ppwer enterprise intake but i got tired of the woosshing sound so i put the stock air box with the HKS drop in.

Yea, I guess if you like parts from 6 years ago. You should get something better, plenty of stuff out that's cheaper and more effective now. I'd go with ETS, Buschur, or just a MAF adapter with a big filter on the stock pipe.
