the Evo MR has its heat/ac controls in the little pocket where puts their 3 gauge cluster just wondering if those heat/ac controls where available and if they would fit in our US EVO's would be a good way to mount aftermarket gauges in a higher, easier to see, location

becuase the MR uses climate control and not mechanical. you can make it fit but it will cosl a LOT of money and time and it is really not worth it imho.

The main difference is a thermostat and logic control. It should be a self-contained unit so I, personally, see no reason why it should not be retrofittable.

well i might be wrong,

i do remember that a member tried it and it didn't work but who knows. for me, i really don't see any reason to do that seeing as you can just move the cd player to the lower chubby din and use the upper din for gauges.

AFAIK, MR is not even out yet - so how can one try it? Is similar automatic climate control available in OUS markets?
