hks test pipe

Im going to take the plunge and get a test pipe for my hks exhaust. I looked under the car and it shows a 2 bolt from the hks downpipe to a 3 bolt to the cat back part of the hks exhaust. I was looking at test pipes on ebay since its the cheapest place to fine em and I was wondering if this will work. I know it says it will but Id still rather feel safer knowing it will fit from people that have actually done it. Or if you know of a "better" pipe please feel free to let me know about it.

Thanks again in advance

Craig

I'm pretty sure the test pipe is a 2 bolt to 2 bolt. I remember when I got my hfc there was an arrow telling you which way is forward, because it looked the same front and back. The ebay one could just be a bad stock photo or something, but I'd look for another one.

This one looks right...

I just got one like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Testp...item2c54c0e027

Fitment is right on. No question about it. Plus, a test pipe is just a pipe. lol No need to spend hella money on it.

you guys are right it is 2 bolt to 2 bolt, I was also working on my buddies civic and his was a 3 bolt I got confused lol, I was looking in the for-sale section and its cheaper to just buy a new one vs getting a used one.

thanks again for the help

the first two that were linked had a resonater in them, while the 3rd one for $60 was a true straight 3" pipe with two flanges welded to the ends. Id go with the 3rd one. A true 3" straight pipe!

If all fails, and the flanges didnt meet up the way it should, it could always be welded on for a few extra bucks.
