Which mod first?

Ive been reading a lot of here and i have seen that a lot of people stick with the stock intercooler for awhile. Im debating on getting cams or an intercooler first.

mods to date: Ams 3" dp, Ams 3" test pipe, Ams 3" Catback, Ets Hardpipe Intake, Ets LICP, Ams mbc (switch to 3port soon when i get tuned)..

Is there something else i should look at getting first before both of these?

What is your time frame? I wouldn't worry about the intercooler since air temps are on the way down...then by summer you can get the intercooler

Definitely cams before intercooler. You will see a big difference with new cams. Intercooler will be nice once you really start to push the stock turbo.

Make sure you look at your fuel setup. Invest 100$ and get yourself a Walbro fuel pump.

You seem to be on the correct mod path so far!

I can wait till spring or summer to get an intercooler since it is heading into winter. What other items/mods should i look at getting before even the intercooler?

Make sure you're ready to get a tune after cams.

what are your goals? I'm way behind you in mods, but would consider the FP black. But cams would be a good idea too. You shouldn't need to tune after the intercooler, so you could start with that since the cams would require a tune.

Go with the cams and a tune afterward and you will see a difference, but if you are making over 350hp also upgrading the intercooler is a must

Since my last dyno I only put down 302awhp on a mustang dyno. That was on a 95 degree day with no tune.

The question comes down to how much power you wanting to make? After given the HP goal people will chime in and help you select the cams best for your needs.

Kelford 272s or GSC S2. Good power & street friendly.
