I will be a new member of the fam very soon

I am on vaca next week. Already talked to a few dealers and plan on going around monday and tuesday to get the best deal. Got about 13-14k to put down on top of my trade in which is another 4-5k. So getting approved for a loan will be no problems. I found a 08 gsr with 22k miles I am going to look at. But I will also look at a left over octane blue gsr with sss. And also look into a 2011 on top of it. See where payments will be then decide whats best from there. I am really leaning twards the left over. Either way by this time next week I should have my evo x sittin in my driveway, (unless i get a 2011 and it gets ordered) No dealers around me have them in stock or on order ****ttty

It all depends on what you are looking for, but I would lean towards the left over new one as well unless you are specifically looking for options only available on the 2011. Usually a better deal and less anxiety over what the previous owner did with a used one. Good luck with the deal...

Well the dealer with the 2010gsr sold it they finally got back to me today. So thats out of the picture. My only other options are the silver 08 with 22k miles or a 08 rally red with 28k miles, The dealer with the 2010 tried to push a few 2010 se's they have, but I dont want a paddle shift, Ig ot a slapstick shift in my bmw and hate it, its an automatic in my mind and I want a real manual again.

Picking up a leftover 2010 right now is what I'd go for if you can find one in the color/options you want. They're offering nice discounts plus 0% financing for 48 months.

Happened on it by accident looking for something else today, but there is a Mitsu dealer in the Albany, NY area with a 2010 GSR on the lot (where I bought mine).

It was Goldstein. They were DeNooyer when I bought mine...but I bought it for $5K less than what they had it listed for at the time, so you never know. You might also look into some of the dealers on here that ship - never done it myself but they have some really good prices.

There is a GG GSR at my local dealer in Burlington, VT, but I have never had luck buying from them. When I bought my evo they wanted $2K over sticker....
