Achieving my goal?
I love Fp turbos and i work at a performance shop with a very high amount of Evo's and Subaru's .
We have done countless of Fp turbo installs and have never seen a single issue what so ever .

tuning help!
So i definitely think my car problens are coming down to needing a tune. As of right now im tuned from sean ivey at iveytuning... the owner before me did the tuning there i didnt. So i dont want to pay 600$ just for a retune does anyone know something there that can throw in some words to get it cheaper or get me a tune at another shop? Thanks!

Well i lowered my boost a little due to constant back firing and it worked no more backfiring, but i lost all power comoletely basically. Im at 19 psi now i was at 26 stock turbo. Throughout the whole rpm range i have loss of power so i decided to turn back up the boost a little and the boost will not go back up to where it is its stuck at !9-20 psi. Idk what the hell is wrong i changed the spark plugs. I just think i need a retune.
have you contacted Ivey about your issue? seems as if most shops give discounted rates for repeat customers (or cars). have you looked into your WGA? if your leaking somewhere it would explain why your not reaching peak boost.

Also are you sure we tuned it? Every day we get that about cars we have never even seen.
If you need us to evaluate/tune the car please call us and setup an appointment and we would be more than happy to help you.

Well i was told by the seller of my car that you chrge 600 for a tune and 400 for the rest. So i assumed it would be 600 for me thinking that it was the first time for me using your services. Joe fasano told me great things about you guys so i wanted to come back to you. Joe is the seller of the evo
I know the name but will have to look at my records.
Either way an ecuflash tune on an evo 8 or 9 is $450 initially and $400 for retune usually. Evo X ecuflash $500, EVOX ecutek $600. Retunes are lower.
Cobb AP evo X $500.
There are alot of other things that could cause the issue other than the tune. Best bet bring it in and have us evaluate, may not cost much depending on what it is.
