My EVO

Just wanted to introduce myself on here and show a couple pics of my EVO and my S2K. Just got the EVO a couple months ago and I have been searching and browsing the forums alot and I've gotten some good info so thanks and keep it up guys.

If this is in the wrong section I'm sorry. I didn't know where to introduce myself. Feel free to move it if necessary.

Well I try not to drive too spirited on public roads and I haven't been able to take them to a track yet but I'm hoping to start autocrossing them this next year. I would have to say that the S2000 seems more agile and natural through the twisties though.

Oh and for the Ahole comment, can't you see what my other ride is? It's a Honda. So I'm use to all the people over on Honda-Tech.com

Yeah, S2000

I currently own an AP1, but I'm trying to get rid of it for an Evo VIII. Would you say I'll be happy with my decision? Being in Illinois you know our lack of good roads (If you know of any nice twisties relatively close to the Chicago area, please PM me). I do plan on tracking a bit though. Beautiful cars!

if youre referring to me as the ahole commenter, you need to relax. they're both great cars, i wasn't saying which one was better or worse.

wow, I love both. I always wanted an s2k but I can never justify having a second car with only 2 seats.

It was a joke man. Take it easy. Like I said I'm use to all the Honda-Tech guys. Some of them like to bash if you don't know everything there is to know about everything. It wasn't slamming you.

And for the record everything that has been done to the EVO so far was already done to it besides the winter tires I'm getting put on today.

It has obviously a bigger FMIC but I dont know for sure what kind. It also has some cheap exhaust and some of the intercooler piping has been changed. And it has a Exedy Twin Disc. Also an EVO 9 BOV and has been tuned by AMS at 27psi(Supposedly). I have the paperwork for all the stuff AMS did but since there's no boost gauge I don't know for sure how much it's running. Ive seen on here that 27 is pushing it on the stock 8 turbo. But things will change in the future. I'm looking to get the new HKS 7460 and some other supporting mods but as of right now just getting me to work is ok. All the exterior mods were already done also. There's a few things need fixing when I got it and I just hope I can get it back to it's former glory.
