OP: do a search on the company, that should tell you why you wouldn't want them.

same here ive had mine for almost 3 years and no problems. i feel like i def gained power from their o2 and the manifold, if not def quicker spool.

only reason im gettin rid of mine is to put the stocker back on, im not even porting it. i dont see it worth it for the money they want. and i did the o2 eliminator from MAP, that i feel is worth every penny!
i guess you got lucky. i ran one for about a year and i counted 4 cracks in it just after looking at it for a few seconds. im sure if i go over it better, id find more

I had both on my VIII and they worked fine except I just couldn't get it to seal up against the engine, always had a leak even after new gasket and new manifold studs, but other than that I really had no problems with it.

then that would be considered junk IMO and many others on this site. if the part doesnt fit then why would you run it?

The way I see it, you have to pay to play. Especially in the Evo game, why drop 25k ( or in some cases even more ) on a car and then short yourself on the mods? Either way you will spend the same amount, one good part = the price of two crappy parts ( because the first one broke ). Just my 2 cents but the choice is yours

no to the manny the o2 there are many options that have proven to make more power then the megan and im not talking about o2 dumps either but the megan o2 is good to use. Go ahead and get it coated.

thanks for your help....what would you recommend to me I have basic bolt on and now want to upgrade the turbo. It's a daily driver not a track star....i haven't upgraded the head studs, currently I'm around 310 -320 but want more...but Ive read there are limits to hp and torque 450 / 435??? thought since you know what your doing and I'm still learning.

who me???

You really should not go over 420tq with stock block at that point your on borrowed time. the max a evo 8 9 turbo will give you is around 410whp and thats pushing it hard and in most cases requires meth or e85. the best bet is to definatly upgrade turbos but which one. what do you want out the car completely besides daily driver. Fast spooling more top end etc then choose the turbo. FP stock frame turbos have been doing wonders and a turbo for each power bracket basically. at your power level headstuds are over kill. what is as full mod list to your car and i can better direct you boss

People don't like the megan mainfold because they can crack and have not been proven to make more power then a stock ported manifold. Also, for us in Cali, using a ported stock manifold helps keep with the stock look and gets you less stress from cops.

OP, I PM'd you.
