Meth Injection Wanted!
well i recently got offered a trade for my 2003 - 2006 cobb acessport for the nissan 350z for a hfs-1 kit, dds3-ver10 with red gauge and quick connect wiring new pump has only been primed. Has all sensors, wires and all meth lines so the kit is ready to install.
Does anyone know how reliable these things are for Daily Driving - i hear cylinder #1 has problems where the meth isnt evenly distributed throughout all cylinders and theres ways around this.
My question is basically How to install the kit the PROFESSIONAL way not the uicp way due to uneven spraying.
So far as of right now this is what i know to my knowledge by reading through the forums about meth injection
let me know what you guys think

I would asume a nozzle in each of the intake runners. I would also think that u still would have to then worry about a clogged jet. My kit recomend inspecting the system appox every oil change

hmm im kinda sketchy on doing meth injection but as all of you know theres one E85 station which is 30 min from me in jersey. i want the extra power that it delivers cause i really dont want to do cams due to the idle sound and meth is pretty cheap to run compared to e85

I think you need to read this thread. Lots of good info in here.

I would not worry about doing multiport injection. From what info I can find on this site it seems like cyl. #1 is the one that normaly goes out. It does not seem to matter if it was on pump gas or pump/meth. Cyl. #4 seems to be the second most common one to give out. Many people have been running it with one and two jet setups for years with no issues.
It is recommended to have the jets a little further back from the cylinders so that the methanol has time to fully atomize and mix with the air. Having it furter back also helps to give the methanol time to cool the intake charge down. There is alot of info on this site in the water/meth injection sub forum. You can also find alot of info on www.waterinjection.info
When tuning give your self a little safety margin. Don't attempt to run the ragged edge of afr and you will be good.
