Sorry if this is a repeat but please help!!!!!!
So I replaced my stock clamp to my intercooler pipe that connects to the throttle body because it kept blowing off if I went over 4000 rpms. I bought a 3" t bolt clamp from a local advanced auto parts store and tightened it as far as it could go and it was fine ..... Until now!! It blew off again!!! What can I do to make it so this thing doesn't blow off and I don't randomly bog down in traffic (it's really embarrassing! lol). Thanks for any info given
Make sure the clamp is straight on the pipe. Straight up and down. If you get it wrong, it will just continue to blow off.
Might be time for a Samco replacement hose or if you got the money, an entire UICP. You can do a search for this problem. It's very common

I am actually about to order the ams uicp for 79.99 can't really complain about that price for an all metal and polished uicp but for now I tried the washers in front of the nut and it seems to be working so far I'm just too nervous to hit on it now since it's been blowing the pipe off so damn much haha
