Evo IX rs or WW X GSR??

Okay guys, I need a new car..... Well not really.

I was looking into getting a WW X GSR, but the prices for them seemed too high right now for me. Around $25-28K.

After dinner with a couple members of EvoM we come across a completely stock Red IX RS with 92K miles....
The owner gets out of the car and we invite him to the BBQ we are having and he says the car is for sale..........

What do you guys think?? The RS is cheaper and I have tons of parts
I gave him my business card if he is selling soon....

Lol, omg. You should have never sold that IX. You replaced basically everything on it and it was paid for. smh.

OP get the X. So why ask? Price is relative. Get the car you want, and it sounds like the X just because you are asking the question. Personally I'd buy the IX, but I'm not you and I don't think 28K is bad as long as we're talking less than 5-8k miles.

Why are you getting a new one? Are you going to keep your current Evo?

I will be keeping my current Evo.

But thinking that I will do a 2.3L and bigger turbo for a track car/road race.
My buddy is trying to convince me, my wife has no idea. She knows I wanted a WW X, but this deal is almost too good.

which evo is going to be the track car? I mean the RS is hard to beat from a weight savings perspective. the x will have AYC though...I say get the X just because you already have an 8

Thinking the track car would be the RS as I would probably just build the engine right away.

I personally would inspect the car through and through then drive it. I would then bring someone with me who knows and works on the cars to give me a heads up to alert me if there is anythign wrong minorly or majorly to help me spot out something serious.

Then if it is not serious I would make the purchase after doing research on the car just incase anything goes wrong. I would also ask if the car is completely paid off too last thing you need is a lien and change the locks on it and then install a tracking device on it.
