this is a dumb question so I didn't want to make a thread for it, but are all SE Evo IX's MR editions? The Evo I'm looking at is an '06 IX SE, now the information on the website says 6speed, but the car doesn't have MR badges... This leads me to believe it's a non-MR with a 5speed

 

When I got my Evo back in 07.

Not quite off topic but first trip to my local gas station after trading my 2003 eclipse for a 2010 ralliart and the girl behind the counter says:
Is that your new car?
I reply yes it is.
She said to her co-worker.....its nice but I liked the Tiburon better.
I shuddered a bit and left.

 

My son told me this one today after having driven his WW Evo X: A guy pulls up next to him at a light and asks, "Is that a Lexus?" My son says "yes". Then the guy asked, "Where did you get that wing?" My son responded, "Well, go to your local Lexus dealer and you can order one". I literally LOL'ed on that one. Somehow the word gullible seems appropriate here.

 

The SE was an options package for the IX (GSR). It came with a badge. The MR was not offered with the same option; it was offered with an Appearance Package that did not include a SE badge.

 

Bought my evo about a month ago and after having it for maybe 3 hours i was walking into a store and gentleman came up to me and said (still had stock spoiler) " i really like your camry, B****in wing you got there."


Then last night i was getting gas and a kid in a stickered up scooby rolls up and says ''that evo could be so much sicker with some stickers."

Some people huh

 

Not just sicker but FASTER....About 20whp per sticker yanno

 

A few nights ago my cousin really wanted to ride in my Evo..even though his house was only a few houses away on the same street. I still dropped him off since he wanted to ride in it so bad haha.

most common comment i used to get in my old 03 evo was always at stop lights..

people always asked me to "do a burn out dude!" or "spin them tires!"...

 

Ive over heard "car guys" arguing saything that evo also come stock supercharged

 

Ive come to realize that one of the most annoying things is when my friends get in my car, and list through other makes and models of cars and ask, "can you beat this? Oh, how about this." Or the one that really pissed me off and sometimes I just don't know what to say anymore, "Why didn't you just get an STI?" Drives me nuts, anyone else agree with that or am i going crazy

If it bothers you so much, having people ask questions....why don't you just get an STI?

Also, everything people ask you about your cars....they assume in reverse about mine. "Whoa, that thing is fast huh?" "I bet it's faster than a corvette" "AWD rocks!"....I have none of these things they speak of.
