got the Evo

Whats up guys,
Drove the Evo home today! Paperwork is almost finalized. This is gonna be my wife's car and our car for the mountains. We still need a roofrack for it and I might switch the wheels of my Taco and see how it looks.
It has 60,000 miles, stock, shifts smooth, runs smooth. Love it so far!

At one point that car wasnt stock. The rear fenders have been rolled, and pulled a little at the back...

Any info in the history? Will do the job you want it to do as long as everything is good where it counts.

Im also pretty sure it wasnt all stock. It has the symptoms of not being put back together after a MBC install. It doesnt hold boost right. I ordered a vacuum hose with the boost pill in it so Ill see if that works. The rolled fenders might help with the 18s from my truck.

your truck is RWD biased so you will most likely have fitment issues mounting them on an EVO which BTW is HIGHLY not recommended. but congrats on ur purchase...

well the plan is to keep it all stock(except maybe switching wheels) until it is paid off. I bought the wheels off a guy that wanted to put them on an Evo. they are 18x9 with 245 tires, with a 30 offset. How do you think they will fit?

without rolling fenders a 9" wide wheel has the potential to rub...

8.5" with a 255 tire is the widest you can go on the evo8 body b4 rolling fenders are required low or not bcuz if car makes power or you take turns with authority it could still possibly rub

Nice car! Any updates?

Where in WY are you at? EVOs are so incredibly rare around here. I only know of 9 or so in the entire state...
