07 wrx possibly to evo

Hey everyone i started out not wanting an evo, but then as i went to more meets and saw more evos they grew on me. Seeing them more and more has really been pushing me to the point of considering getting one, but im not sure how good one would be for my situation.
I drive about every day but not that much i only put like 200 miles on my car in a week - 2 weeks so i dont do too much driving. Im thinking about getting an evo 8 because i love the body and looks of them.

My current ride nothing fancy but just thought id throw it up here:

Thanks for the looking and for the help

i dont wanan spend too much cuz i could prob only get like 16k for this car and i only have like 1500 saved up so im not sure if it would be the best to pay of another loan lol. But i really think its the right way to go for me just wondering how much worse the insurance would be

Just fyi, you can find '05 VIIIs with ACD.

The 4G63 runs FOREVER if taken care of. You can't go wrong with any of the Evos, but try to avoid '03 and '08 as they were newer intros and had some issues.

It's varied over the years, but my current commute is 16 miles one-way (I've had both my IX and X for this one). My IX was great in traffic up until big cams + lightweight flywheel so I will not be doing either of those mods to my X.

I average 18-20k miles per year.
