Looking at buying Evo 8

Well guys I've been looking for an evo to buy since the bad mishap with my last one :/. i found one in ILL and its modded pretty decent. Its a decent price too which is why im interested. I've kind of want a stock IX but they are pretty hard to find (as far as i can tell). There are quite a bit of questions about this car that has me asking you guys what you think. The carfax says it was in a front end accident which is kind of keeping me from buying it at this point. Just want you guys to look at it and give me your honest opinion. Thanks!

You should stay away from that one man, There are a couple of those "dealers" run out of warehouses in Chicago, they all get bad reviews. I'm sure it's all owned by the same person or once they get a bad rep, they change the name of the company lol. Most of the cars they have are overpriced and probably un tuned, they don't know what is going on with the cars (parts/tune etc..)

and If I remember correctly they take the nice cars in their inventory and go on joy rides /highway runs on the weekend, Most people have a lot of problems with the cars after purchase from one of these companies.

here is a review, I found with some quick google skills

This guy pretty much sums of every thing I've heard about these companies.

Thats interesting. Never heard that before. It seems such a good deal but then thats where we run into problems haha. Always too good to be true. Truthfully the thing i need to do is to go and check the car out very thoroughly. But im out of state and if i travel that far basically it would be hard for me to let it go. Wouldnt want to waste a trip like that.

Check out the classifieds on here, I'm sure there are some newer evos for around the same price, hell..I had mine up for 22k not too long ago (not for sale anymore decided to keep it) and it's an 06 with just bolt ons and 43k miles.
