Hello, NEED ADVICE

Hey, I'm new here, Justin from New Jersey 20 years old. I currently own a 2001 Gti with a Frankenturbo Kit and upgraded Unitronics software. I'm in love with Evo's though.. I want a better understand of the 5 vs 6 speed, and the FQ models if they are available anywhere in the us. And if I sell my motorcycle for $3,000. My stereo equipment for $4,000 and my car for around $5,000 I wanna know where that would put me ballpark wise for a Newer Evo X.. and if its even worth it. Cause my car is pretty fast as it is. I just think the Evo is a much nicer car, and i'm gettin sick of vw honestly. But don't wanna waste all my money if it isn't a big difference.. so persuade me peoplee lol. whats so good about evo's anyway..

well first of all, FQs are NOT available in the us, that's a Eurpoean thing only. Are you sure you want an Evo X over an Evo 8 or 9? be aware that the 8s and 9s will be cheaper, though the 9s will only be marginally so over a used 08 X. Keep in mind that the Evo X is a $37-40k car new. Are you prepared to take on that kind of financial responsibility? Weather or not you will enjoy an Evo depends on what you're looking for in a car, I guess you really need to start by telling us that.

Here is a nice LY 2003 Evo 8 for under $12K being sold in IL. Straight body, clean title....I would almost buy a used evo and trick it out for the money I would spend on a new/er evo....
