Just picked up a 08 evo x with 28k miles . Im in lolololololoveeeee . Im a little confused though as i never seen one stock. I noticed mine has cat back exhaust but dont know if the down pipe is. Also i saw a AMS Performance sticker on the dash. Is this thing tuned? is there a way to tell ? thanks.

 

welcome, you didn't get any paper work for the aftermarket parts?

 

unfortunately i did not. The dealer was rather clueless to what it had , i did notice it had a cone filter with stock intake pipping the dude assumed it was like that from factory, i got it for 25.5 out the door with a 800 upside down trade in. i will post up pictures in a few im happy as hell though! this thing made my girl scared! and she drives a stage 2 2010 gti dyno'd at like 275hp 252 tq to the wheels

I'm located around Normandy/federal southeast Houston?. Thanks for the kind words guys makes me like my car even more . Anything happens locally as far as meets and such? I've been looking around for meets but I don't really find much Houston Evo or import meets besides VW and I don't like those folks too much. Most of them are "my fart don't stink" jerks.

 

I agree with you Erik....... When I had my R32 I went to a few meets and those guys are dicks (for no reason at all). One reason I traded it (and it just wasn't doing IT for me)........

I saw a few meets on here but haven't gone yet (considering I have only had my ride for a month). If there isn't a straight-up EVO event coming up; we can always try and start one up or have a cruise somewhere.

I'm down just let me know!

Thinking of going to Coffee and Cars next weekend..... Just a thought!
