Hi lads my Evo 8 just failed it's test because it has HID lights and has no headlight washers🤔 it's not an MR because it has a steel roof but the head lights look genuine the wiring and plugs and all look original did the Evo 8 have HID lights or just the 8MR.. Any help would be much appreciated...👍🏼

 

If you read the list that was linked above, all evo VIII models including GSR and MR came with HID and fog lights.

I have no mr badge, it is a steel roof, I have the 6 speed, double din, hid with the height adjustment and ac power everything, I have the enkei 17s, but also don't have black mr tails or headlights, and no sun roof.
i am positive it's not the mr dispite the 6 speed, it was brought to Aus from Japan as its still got the Yokohama parking permit on the window.
So do I have a Gsr? I presume It's not mr and because of lack of sun roof it can't be ssl, so have I answer my own question? Just want a definite on what model I have, any input would be greatly appreciated from you gurus.
