Why do You need a header?I made 640whp with a stock unported manifold.Money can be better spent in other mods.

Headers are good on V8s... and STIs... keep the stock manifold on your evo. Like the guy above me said, you can use it for a better mod.

If you REALLY want headers check out MAPerformance. They're a little pricy but the quality is amazing.

don't mean to be a d**k, but it is a turbo manifold or exhaust manifold, headers is plural and not accurate. What modifications do you already have done?

Exhaust manifolds are used on turbocharged cars. Headers on NA. And as far as MAPPerformance exhaust manifold being pricey? I think they are the least expensive and very high quality.

sorry i mean exhaust manifold and im running an fp green 3inch turbo back exhaust bigger front mount and im lookin to get it tuned. a couple ppl suggested to me to get the exhaust manifold to help flow. also i hear its better for the turbo? i also kinda want them because the stock manifold is rusted to crap and i dont like how it looks. if you guys dont think it needs them to make power id take ur advice. ive only had my car for 3 months im goin for atleast over 400hp thought getting a manifold would help along with bigger fuel injectors and fuel rail. any advice is good lol. and yeah i dont want to drop 1200 ona manifold i found indivia one for 600 so just figured it might be a good buy

Have yours or buy a stock manifold that was already ported if you want an upgrade. You can always send it off to be coated or purchase a nice shiny heat shield if the looks bother you that much.

Don't be suckered into a cheap manifold. If you are dead set on getting one, there are plenty of options out there for a good chunk of money. Like others have said. $500-1,000 can go a very long way into other areas of the car.

I agree to not gets header if your looking into high horsepower gains. As for me Im running a stock turbo and had already done everything I can to upgrade my horses almost and I was pretty happy with where it was (it being a dd and all) so I bought some dnp headers for aesthetic purposes

After a tune I gained about 5hp and upped my torque by 10.

As you can see not a big difference. But I have had the dnp headers on for 7 months? maybe no cracks look good get compliments on them and after use they have a purplish bronze tint from heat and I think it is sexy they ran me about $600

Trust me I was hated on hardcore for wanting headers when I posted about them but in the end do what you want.

What to take from all this ^^^

Header is for looks not hp gains (until you get into them bigger turbos)

Oh almost forgot to mention my gas went from 240 miles on a tank to 260 on a tank (as far as reaching the E light I have ran it to 310 on a tank before because my banks computers shut down and I was stranded away from home and decided to risk it haha <unnecessary info haha)
