New member and new owner! :)
Hi everyone, just joined up today. Just got 1000km on my new evo x, wicked white. Very good looking car. So far I'm happy. I don't know if this is the place to ask questions so please let me know how to do this properly.
I just have two questions for now. I just noticed tonight a ticking from the motor, I've done reading and so far everyone says it's the valves/injectors (like I thought) but there isn't a clear consensus if this is normal or not. I'm taking the car into the dealer after tomorrow to see what they say or if I can make them make it stop. Not sure if it's been doing it since day one, just noticed it today when I rolled my window down for drive thru. So if anyone can calm me down with facts that would be great.
Second is why is there a lag between me hitting the gas and the car accelerating, it's not much but it feels delayed compared to my old RalliArt (2005). The power delivery is great just feels delayed. Is this normal? Am I just not used to a turbo vehicle so the delay just seems to be there but is actually just the turbo lag?
Thanks everyone, I'm excited to be a part of the group. I got some plans for the car and can post how it goes as it comes along.

Mine ticks a little too, I think this is normal for the Evo, and how much of a lag are yu experiencing? I believe the ralliart had a smaller turbo which means shorter time for spooling. THis could be it or your timing could be messed up. I know I just installed a K&N intake and the car spools 400rpms quicker and you can hear everything now! Let me know what you find out about ticking.
