If its just a car to you then maybe not, just a good alarm. If its your baby then yes.

For insurance purpose?
I'm 19 and a quote on a 2010 EVO X came up to $180 w/ LoJack
FYI that's what I'm currently paying on my 07 350Z

I got mine with lojack when I bought it.. annoyingly enough I moved since then and El Paso PD does not have lojack vehicles so its usless to me here... so just keep in mind it doesn't work everywhere. If you plan on moving in the near future I'd see if the locations you are going to go to are lojack equipped.

On that note, if a company does offer a discount for LoJack (or any similar anti-theft homing device), it is usually a single-digit percentage off of the COMPREHENSIVE coverage of your policy (and not the whole premium). It usually doesn't amount to much, regardless of whatever your hear. So if you're getting it, get it because you want to feel safer about recovering it if it's stolen, not because you want an insurance discount.

Any car can be easily stolen. Depends where you live. If you live in Cali, Texas, So. Florida, NY/NJ id get a LoJack. Other states it doesnt make sense because coverage is limited to certain states. Plus if your car isnt recovered within 24 hours you get your money back anyway. win/win if you ask me.

Think it was just guarantee for 25,000 from LoJack if I can recall. Say if amateur not pros is it possible for them to steal it? How well is the engine immobilizes security? Would they be able to like stick a screw driver and drive it off or something?
