I would do it, had the X and drove it year round. Get some snows and you got a monster in the snow, some snow plows couldn't even keep up. Good luck and I think you'll make the right choice with an all round winner.

Thanks hinduboy, everything is pointing in that direction!

You'll also find you like turning more than you thought.... at least I did.
That's awesome, thanks for stoppin by man. Really happy to hear that, the evo is actually quicker than my 3.7 so its an upgrade in so many ways. I thought about looking for a used cobra or termi with an explorer for bad weather....but then I said eff it. J want a big power, awd, 4 door that I can enjoy rain snow or shine lol

I still haven't gotten my damn hands on an evo. I survived the Jersey winter (thanks to 4 Blizzak WS70's). The pony handled enough for me to get to work when I had to.

I'm thinking as the weather clears up I'll do a full detail and then throw it up online to try and sell privately. Since it's still financed and I owe quite a bit, I'd get bent over at a dealership.

I watch evo vids and read the forums all day man, this sucks. I can't wait to grab one! I'm really tired of driving stick in Jersey too, so I think the MR will be an awesome happy medium for me.

I drove my Evo down there from Michigan to see a 40 Below Summer concert with my girl and it wasn't that bad....

Other than the New Jersey roads around New Brunswick which seemed like the worst maze I've ever encountered. 2 GPS units in the car both were confused about what to do. We got lost despite having navigation and directions.... Situations where we could even "see" where we needed to go but were unable to get there. We'd take those funky on-ramps leading over the road only to find 3 or 4 exits on the other side of the road without any signs....

As long as you can navigate you'll be fine.... the stick was the least of my worries......

Considering you have one of the best melodic heavy metal bands on the east coast playing your local clubs like Starland Ballroom I'd say you'll be fine.

If you're going to mod I'd still say go GSR... but let's not trash this thread over that as it's been beaten to death.

Lol navigation isn't my problem...I've lived in Jersey my whole life. It's the work commutes that double the actual time it should take to get to work. Rt 287 is like a parking lot every day for 40 miles, driving manual during those days makes you hate life!

I agree though, on a nice summer day on a weekend, rowing through the gears is amazing.

We'll see, I wouldn't complain if I had either

@Noize - Lmao nice find
