Exclamation New-B looking for a little help

I became a father, then my old car (a grand am POS) died. Needed a car quick and something not too expensive... decided on the 2003 Lancer ES AT. I love this car although it does lack certain pizazz... ... anywho, I got it tinted with a cool mitsu logo in the rear window. Got fog lights, the usual... now I am trying to find a CAI or SRI that will give it some more boost but not take me to the cleaners... and it has to be for an Auto... did I mention the wife? Heh... Eventually I want the header, and catback... nothing too annoying (have to ride in this alot)... suggestions?

Help

that AT cannot have a CAI, look up RRM's and RMR's SRI. really tho youll barely get any increase in power.

I bought Injen's short ram intake. It'll give you that extra push. It also sounds real nice at high RPM's. Plus it costs just as much as the RMR or RRM intakes: $160.

I really prefer this intake because it replaces the WHOLE intake tubing not just the filter like other brands.

autos can have a CAI, but it has to be specially made because of the tranny being so big... but you would also have to relocate the battery to make an auto CAI... just get an SRI from RRM or RMR or hell even ebay has the mas adapter and you can slap on a huge K&N cone filter even cheaper!

rrm is www.roadracemotorsports.com and rmr is rhys millen racing. yes you can use a header and catback, but you need to make plans so you know which ones you should get.

Hey I see alot of the Rear and front strut tower bars on Ebay for like $15... are those decent or would that be throwing money away? I don't know if a specific brand is what I need...

Don't buy those, most of those rub against your intake manifold & throttle body.. Remember, you get what you pay for. Your best best is to go with RRM's of with the one on the RmR website.
