Not much to say here. Bout an 06 Mr towards the end of 2013. unknown previous mods. Gauges stripped, massive intercooler and some splicing left over from a system were all i had to base this car on. Regardless i was in love even before i picked it up. was driving it for a bout a month off and on and met some guys. money was tighter than i liked back then being that the evo was my third car and had yet to sell my old vw r32, so mods were not in the near future. i guess its worth noting that at this time i didnt know nearly as much about ANYTHING as i thought i did, but i decided to go out terrorizing the streets with my new racecar lol.. ran my buddies new are took the evo to about 84k (yeah) and got lucky and only spun a bearing. in the tear down i made two decisions; one of which was to educate myself as i took on this job myself, the second was to do a major overhaul... i regret the latter of those two. decided to do a rebuild, so long story short shes stroked, 2.3, over bore .040, gsc r2 cams, manley this weisco that aem... blah blah ill put all that in the bio or something. main point is i bought a fp hta35r not realizing how i would have to completely rebuild to suit the power. im here now finally nearing completion, and i honestly have all of the dedicated Evom users and staff for keeping the site going and posting uber helpful ****. hats off to you boys.
