Help....I'm smelling CLUTCH !!

What the **** is wrong with my Evo. Every time i drive a lil fast(70-80mph) and come to a stop, I smell burining clutch. I've had the Evo for 3 weeks now. Broke it in 500@50 under 4k rpm shifts, and VERY rarely pushing it. I thought the smell of burning clutch wud last until the end of the breakin, but DAMMN.. this suks. I'm @ 550miles now, and will go in for an oil flush this week sumtime. Any sugestions fellow evo enthusiasts. Ne one around my area wanna take a look at my baby .. i think its not feeling too good (sniff)

are you sure it's burning clutch? Mine smelled like baking metal after I park for the first 1k miles or so. At 2400 mi, it still sometimes smells like baking metal once in a while. Do you only smell it after you park? Or do you smell it when you stop at a light? The first few times you drive the car, it will cook off some of the coatings on metal surfaces (oils, whatnot)..

That'll go away, mine did it to, although I forgot what mileage it stopped at.
