New Lancer owner

Hello All,
I bought a lancer two days ago and not an hour after I got it home, here I am looking for information on caring for it, and hoping for someone to point me in the direction of a repair manual. The vehicle I bought is a used 2013 lancer with 107k miles on it. It's the 2L CVT version. So far I've been having a great time. I need to change all the fluids and repair the fuel door release cable, but outside of that I haven't noticed any issues. Definitely a huge change going from driving around a 20' van to something much more nimble.

Congrats and welcome! There are a lot of resources out there that have free service manuals you can download. I'm not sure if they have them for the lancer, but I got my Evolution manual from EvoScan or Tackyrix's website, I think. It's been years, so my memory is a bit fuzzy ..

Yeah, I paid some sketchy dude $10 on ebay and got sent a PDF. It REALLY needs a better table of contents.

I've had one of those before. About 1000 pages with no way to navigate to where you need to go. Search? Fuggetaboutit

On the bright side, Alldata is pretty good, IMO

So, anyone who is here, what's your opinion on replacing the filters when changing the fluid in the CVTs? There's one filter that's easier to get to cause it's outside the transmission, but there's another where you have to drop the pan to get at it. Is it worth this time, energy, and money to replace both of them? Should I replace only the one on the outside or both? Monetarily, the cheapest quote I've gotten for the job is $400 for just the cooler filter and $750 for both. I really don't want to go through the hassle of changing the filter and fluid myself and REALLY don't want to go through the hassle of dropping the pan myself, in fast I still have PTSD from doing that with my van and stripping out a bunch of bolts.
