I've drifted my AWD Talon before, but believe me, it was at EXTREMELY high speeds, and I didn't really drift my rear end. I was able to get the rear end loose, but it just kind of went with it, no tire noise. The rear would just go around the corner at very high speeds, really wanting to come around. I really drifted with my front end, breaking the FRONT tires loose. I would just approach a hard curve with WAY too much speed, oversteer to the EXTREME, and not countersteer at all-I just point the steering wheel in the direction that I want to go and FLOOR IT. Front wheels just scream trying to get traction while the rear end would start to come around. My front yokahamas would last about two weeks if I really took it easy. it's pretty fun. Don't know about the EVO, though. I love her too much to do that (so far), and the turbo might be a bit too laggy to do that....it's probably too dangerous to do at such high speeds, competitive drifting. perhaps the ban is in response to a safety issue?

I've proboubly driven one more than you (And I get one in november)

Yeah, I know what the percentages are, and if you'll read my previous posts, you'll notice that I already covered the subject.

I thought it was kinda funny though, the difference between drivers and owners of the two companies. Look at the Subaru boards, they took things much lighter, where as here, the replies were definately more "Well I've done it... but it was hard...", kind of interesting...
