Which radar system works the best on our evos?
I am looking for a radar system, not the cheap kind, something will function very accurate when needed. I just got my speeding ticket yesterday, the G35 was in front of me but the cop got me instead, I'm sure he saw that G35 when he came from the opposit side....D&#K HEAD.
Well anyway, if you currently have a radar and it works perfect for you, please share your ideas, thanks.

Best way to avoid speeding tickets is to not speed. Detectors only work if the officer is stupid enough to leave their gun on all the time.. Most of them now are smart enough to just switch it on fast enough to tag you without warning. Slow down.
I once avoided a ticket because the cop was doing radar on cars ahead of me. Even If the genius turns it off he has to turn it on for the cars ahead.
Back to the question.

There is no way to avoid a direct shot from instant on radar..but the range is so good on the unit that if he fires like a half mile ahead of you in a populated area you will pick it up......on the highway I have picked up stuff up to over a mile away...defending on the level the radar gun is running at. Ignore the hype and BS that escort and passport say...trying to say they out perform the Valentine One....they don't. Mr. Valentine was a former engineer at Escort and left.....oops. They are also stealth in states that radar detectors are illegal because the case is made out of magnesium..which blocks "radar detector, detectors" ....
My 3 cents!

There is only one radar that can't be picked up yet...the Bee something or other. Not too popular yet, not used in CA AFAIK.
The V1 is upgradeable via firmware or other needed items, just send it in. If must make sure the serial number is clean and intact, they won't service ones reported stolen or taken off. If it can't be upgraded due to a massive change you get a credit. The case is Magnesium, is a tad on the big side, but provides large numbers, a good bogey count. You can use this to determine the difference between door openers (always come in twos) and other things in the city. On the open I5 going north you can get CHP well out of sight, around bends, over bumps, vectoring towards you over bridges and over-passes. If you only want to buy one detector this is it.
