this may have been mentioned b4, but I have not come across it in all my readings lately . . . . . . If you take your car to get inspected at the dealer and they see aftermarket parts on your car such as intake, exhaust, and lowering springs . . .can they void your warranty right then and there? . . . or is it that issues only come up with warranty if something is wrong with the car?

 

Do a search. SEMA and WARRANTY.

to sum it up they can only void it, if it was the direct cause of the problem with your car.

 

yeah its like saying if you have not lowered your car or anything but you have rims and your axle breaks for no reason. they can't blame the rims when most aftermarktet rims weigh less than most stock wheels. (and they tried to put this scam on me when my axle on my car went bad they said it was the rims were to heavy and i told them to bring out a stock wheel and weigh mine and wiegh the stock wheel, the stock wheel was 5 pounds more than my aftermarket rim and they had to eat thier words and fix it anyways!!! )

 

I like the "if you strap a jet engine to your car they can't void your warranty if your car rusts" one a little better.
