Only cams that I have given up on where Brian Crower Evo 9 cams, not much I can do about 40whp loss over stock cams. :-/
Tomorrow I am tackling Revolvers. If I can get those to work on the stock ECU, I can probably get anything to work.
So far on stock ECU I have tuned these cams with no issues:
Cosworth M2 (8 and 9)
Cosworth M3 (8 and 9)
GSC S1
GSC S2
HKS 264/272/280
Piper Cams
Blox
Helix
GSC standards (old style)
And a couple more I can't remember
ya you and i both havent had the best luck bc cams for my 9, good number bryan cant wait to take my car back with better parts

E85 tune started. Car was running out of fuel, so the tune was kept really conservative. Just to recap, 110 was a solid 29.5psi accross the board...443whp and 368wtq! E85 had a more tuned boost curve...peak boost was set to come on about 600rpm later, and taper to 24.5psi at peak hp. The car made 370wtq and 457whp. Keep in mind, peak hp was 5 psi less than on the 110 tune and gained 14whp peak. Also keep in mind, that once we get the fuel issue worked out and let the turbo open up and get our spool time back, the torque should jump up significantly as well! I am very happy with the car and very impressed with it! E85 FTW!!!
Advertized specs mean jack.
Just FYI I tuned a friends EVO today with the same turbo.ETS 6262 with ets turbo kit hardware.Mabye he can chime in with specs but it left with 363hp on a similar reading dyno as brians..This was on a mustang dyno as well.
03 evo 8
comp cams, not sure what kind?
fmic
tbe
880's
93 octane pump gas
intake
The car wants to run conservative timing and 24-26psi of boost, definitely needs some kind of octane level increase and turn up the boost lol

^^^that actually seems a little low compared to my car. At 24psi on 91 pisstane we hit 365whp. I would think with the extra boost and little extra timing that it would be 380+. Maybe it's a difference in mods or something. Was this with the equal length kit or super value kit.
Well of course the dynos do not read EXACTLY the same..I'm not sure how well the comp cams are either..I wouldn't necessarily say that 91 to 93 octane = 20 whp either, the difference in gas will give you a small chance to increase timing slightly. Also this was an EVO 8, not to mention it has over 80k on the clock lol..We made some more power (low 370's) with 27psi but fueling was going a tad leaner (11.5-11.6) then I would have liked, not to mention I'm not comfortable doing this on pumpgas on someone elses car. So it left with 360 something..Should have 120+ potential on pumpgas..This was on he equal legnth I believe.

Petey,
Would be interesting to see what specs those comp cams are. The "FP" cams BGevoIX have are made by comp cams as well.
What intake was used and what kind of 2byte load and airflow peaks where you seeing if you don't mind me asking?

Bry man,
I'll find out the specs on the cams. I am pretty sure the intake is ETS but I will double check.
~2250hz peak airflow 2 byte
~ 300 2 byte load
I was looking at the boost gauge during this run and it was 24-25..No map sensor for the MD
BTW is the e85army your site to be or is it just for the image?

From my logs:
91 oct:
2573hz peak @ 7900rpm
51.27lb/min @ 7900rpm
300 peak load @ 4900rpm
110 oct:
2985hz @ 8000rpm
352 load @ 5100rpm
58.20lb/min @ 7990rpm
E85 army is my site, haven't really figured out what I want to do with it yet.
