They are our designs, not shared.

It is best to ignore the 'advertized' spec and use the .050" spec.

I may ask to have the .040" (1mm) spec included in cards in the future.

my car is the one pete tuned. the supporting mods to the e.t.s 6262 unequal length manifold kit are as followed
buschur intake
aps twin vent bov
3" test pipe with magna flow 3" cat back
comp 272 cams
ams intercooler with upper pipe
880 injectors
as pete stated this trubo would perform much better with race gas. it wants boost for sure. i ran at the shoot out in englishtown today but pete is still working out the kinks on the two step. still kinda trying to find the sweet spot of where this turbo likes to be. on pump gas 25 to 26 psi seems to be best. this car has 81,000 miles on it and has seen boost daily for years.

what's the spool like? i've heard that the unequal length kit actually loses a good bit of spool! Also, where are you launching at to keep from bogging?

I'm pretty sure the unequal length short runner spools faster than an equal length but the equal length makes more top-end.

well the spool actually isnt to bad. im not sure what it is compared to as far as the equal length but im at full spool by 4800 rpms. im launching at 6500 right now but the load and boost is what helps the car come off the line. see pete im learning something from you lol. pete can chime in but he is still working on the perfect consistent combo. he is very close though.

So you're hitting 25-26psi around 4800? That's about equal with mine. 24psi right around 4600 if I remember correctly. 29psi was coming on around 5k or so. I will definitely be raising my launch limiter. 5850rpm plus 6-8psi didn't do so hot. but then again...I think I need to ride the clutch a little too. with some practice, we both will get it down and have some impressive times I'm sure!

Make sure you guys are talking about the same gear when you compare spool.

Are you referring to that MIVEC thing? I'm sure that might help a little!

No I am talking about the trans.

Make sure you are both talking about the same gear when comparing spool.

If yours spools at 4800 in 3rd, then compare his in 3rd as well.

You can't compare your 3rd and his 4th. The turbo will spool quicker the higher the gear.

Why yes...yes it will! Didn't really think about that. Does having the MIVEC really help spool at all?
