Can't you get options, like the roof venturi spoiler that would make the price $35,986?

Buy qa used evo and put the rest of the money in mods. will be faster than the mr. who cares if it has a 6 speed. if you autocross you dont want the center diff.

Here is my quote from Mastro Subaru in Tampa as of 10am this morning on a new STI:
Out the door, without tax: $31,350

This is on my F&I deal worksheet.

So with our 6% sales tax, that means that an 05 STi, for me is $33,231.

That's what STi _I_ am looking at. They have at least 20 on the lot, feel free to call them, or visit www.mastrowrx.com if you want your own.

FACT: With typical markup and tax the MR is pushing 40K. Yeah, no thanks. For 40K, I'll buy an Elise.

I think Mitsubishi screwed up when they didn't up the horsepower for the MR. Even 10 more hp would have been incentive enough for several people to plunk down $37,000. As it stands now, you get a six speed (which I have to admit is tempting) blacked out headlights, BBS wheels (marginally lighter than the Enkei's)
and the upgraded shocks and thats about it. Nice package but, there is one thing missing, the HP upgrade!

You're right it doesn't. I guess they figured getting some new headlights DOT approved wouldn't be worth the money for 1000 vehicles.

BTW, does anyone know how much the HID option costs for the 05 GSR?
