Sorry Derek -

1. the $800 is not optional - all the MR wil be delivered with that package installed.

2. I did not include dealer fee in my calculation so actually you need to add $500.

41,500 / 60 = $691.66 / mth + ins.

Good luck getting the c6 for msrp, my dealer told me they were selling them for 10-16k over invoice which was already over fifty.

$800 for the MR package is ridiculous! Is that like a 100% profit margin?

I love my car, but for the life of me I cannot imagine paying close to 40,000 for an Evo, when the GSR can be had for invoice in many instances. I would certainly by an Elise and make it a dedicated track car. the Elise will also be much easier to maintain in the long run, much less stuff to break. Mit's really scrwed up on the pricing this time, badly.

Well, the insurance on a Vette is nuts. Too much of a mid-life crisis type of car for me. Give me AWD / Turbo and 4 doors.

repost of multiple other posts. The 800 MR package is not optional. It is included in the "base" price of the MR. That means that you get the stuff in that package for the aforementioned 34199.

I'd rather get a 03' z06 over a c6 anyways.

Somehow I highly doubt the evo MR is going for MSRP unless you have mad hookup, especially if it's a "limited production specialty car"

Well, I think the MR is overpriced. Now, this is only my opinion, but I make plenty to afford this car. However, I certainly won't pay that (especially with most of the dealers gouging). Am I alone in feeling the price is to high for what you get? I mean, this is an enthusiast's car. Why the f*** do I want some crappy gauges that I'm just going to replace anyway? Besides, they're where the radio should be. I don't want to sound like some of the crybabies on this site, but I am disappointed. I will not be buying an MR until dealers start selling them closer to invoice. Or someone wrecks one. Then I'll just buy the 6 speed off the wrecked car.

i love how people harp on the crappy gauges, or the non jdm spec lights.. i don't need to throw insults but its pretty apparent what these types of critics are interested in. hmm? high price? not really... it's a limited edition car... high performance... easy upgradability... seems like a deal to me.
