4G63 vs. MIVEC?
This reminds me of the TVIS system discussions on the older gen2 3sgte. How people gutted it as soon as they started to tune it...no one tried to tune the rpm load where it opened, until recently, and what do you know....more power down low...and better spool....
Same kinda thing with the MIVEC head, you can likely tune with it, or drop in a cam with out the extra lobes(system) if you so want.

If the Evo gets a MIVEC head, vendors will be all over it like crack and the tuning options for the MIVEC will be limitless.
Just wanted to go on Record saying that I love my MIVEC engine to death and its extremely modable. I can just imagine a Turbo'd DOHC version of MIVEC on the Evolution. Its going to be sick.

i second that i have a turbo B16 honda and a laser AWD 6-bolt and the vtec is great with the turbo and that is all the 4g63 was missing. the cool thing would be if mitsu would make the 4g63 with 2 more jugs to give it 3L and then put the mivec on that.
but i think the motor will be fine just the cam changes will not be there but the evo 10 motor i would be more worried about that motor.
