Hey Ron, I just report the news, I know, who are they trying to fool by calling it Adjusted Market Value! I cant agree with you more! If someone wants it, for the mark=up, here are a few. At the beginning I was told MSRP for me, since I am special. Since I dont want a new one, I thought I would pass this "deal" on to you. No need to bend over, just walk away. If you read back, I apologized for this, and hope this egg on my face disappears quickly!

 

There are 2 in Indy now, for MSRP! Grey and silver!I think you are right on waiting, the ones at Family North arent even in yet! should be here the 18th of this month!

 

Good luck to all the future EVO owners, but I can't pay 30K+ for a lancer. Buy used IMO most aren't buying for looks, and definately not the super plush interior, so it must be performane. Which you know you will be swapping parts left and right, so buying brand new would seem to be a major hit in the pocket book.

I think if you are a Dealer, salesperson etc... You should LIST THE out the door price!!!!! The ones I spoke of in the beginning are not even in for 1 more month! but there are a few around town selling for MSRP. If you want me to do some calling around, or give you the headsup on cars/prices, let me know! I am only talking about searching around INDY of course!

Wednesday i talked the salesman at South Holland Mitsubishi (south side of Chicago) down $1500 off sticker price on a GG IX MR. Then i walked. I can wait to buy until after all the hysteria and mark ups.

 

The local dealership here in P-cola would never let ours go that cheap. They want $36, 900.00 + some other mark-ups. I told them to take a hike...

Yea but thats not the best part. They had a 05 VIII MR with 4000 miles on it and were asking $32k firm. Their justification was the car had never been titled. I laughed in the sales man's face. The car was some sort of demo car one can only assume. There were interior scratches and a couple dings on the doors. I said,"that car has been through 4000 miles of hell yet you expect someone to pay only $3000 off sticker?" In this case, a title is just writing on paper, either way that car has been used and i'm sure abused.
