Craze on the 9's? maybe the larger turbo, or the MIVEC head (like VTEC?) other than that, I dont know.

Update: If you are still interested, the graphite gray MR's(2) will be in the dealerships hands this SAT, (Oct 15th) will post pictures if you want me to!

or maybe the last of a pure breed before they go to the X. not a teribly big fan of the X so far, they are going into an all new aluminum body with an all new engine design with an all new drive train. I think they are getting in deeper than they can afford to get in to right now. I'll take my refined 9 and enjoy it a few years and watch the X chassis sort its self out I'll be there to buy one if its up to snuff, if not I got one hell of a car and the end of a legacy

Just got the first couple of evo IX's back from Buschur and I have to say these look bad a$$. Buschur does such a nice job, couldn't be happier!

Just to avoid confusion here....the forged BBS wheels on the VIII MR and IX MR are exactly the same and weigh less than the cast IX-style Enkeis and the cast VIII-style Enkeis.

I thought I read the new IX non MR wheels were in fact lighter than the BBS wheels?

BR330s or BR350s.....either way, I'm guessing both will need a reflash to hit the claimed output? So, MIVEC didn't complicate matters with the ECU re-mapping?

I can't remember which article it was, but they quoted the weight reduction achieved for the IX Enkeis versus the VIII Enkeis. So, using that info it was possible to work out the weight of the new Enkeis and they were still heavier than the BBS. I can try to dig it out if you like..........I'm sure it won't be too long before someone puts all three on the scales

Also, given that the MR boasts the Al roof to reduce weight, I doubt they would equip it with a set of heavier wheels costing nearly $800 a pop.

I guess there are 3 MR's comming in, the only ones in Indianapolis I have been told.

2 MR's graphite gray, black interior. color on the 3rd, I am not sure of.
Price with "adjusted market value" which is actually the mark up, is MSRP plus 3,500. Again, I didn't set the price, I report it to you.

2 EVO 9's comming in. Totally loaded (arent they anyway?)

1. Black
2. Silver
Price is 33,500 for them.

VIN #'s are to be given to dealership/me on Friday, will post them if interested. The ship date to the Dealership is 45-55 days! from today. or I guess from the release of the VIN#'s?

I hope this removes the egg on my face for starting this thread. I guess the egg goes back on for the "adjusted Market Value" though.

PM me if interested, will do all I can to help,
Kevin
You are a saddist Kev ... adjusted market value" which is actually the mark up, is MSRP plus 3,500.

I'd be ashamed to be associated with that rapeism!

Should we thank you before or after we grab our ankles!!!

Turbo-Ron,

Where ya been man; you don't seem to have posted for a while in this section?

Anyway, I was kinda psyched along with you for the IX ( a while back) but I'm now contemplating something completely different; not sure what I'll end up with. Hope it works out for you...............adios.
