Oh yeah? You have to have your interest piqued before you buy? Breakdown and buy something else? Hmmm, . . .

What did you plan on buying if the IX doesn't come out in time and you run out of patience? Maybe SRT-4? Maybe STI, TSX, M-12 what?

Latest news, I expect a VIN number tomorrow and delivery in two weeks for my MR. Straight from the manager who I trust.

Did you skip your meds today? grow up! I think he would buy something else if ones not available, should he check in with you first? You have too many toys listed, now go get a girlfriend, and quit waiting for you evo IX!

I'm with you (sort of).

No news from my dealer on colors, pricing, estimated availability leads me to believe I'm unlikely to get one before the winter sets in (I'm in Upstate NY); in which case I would definitely delay the IX purchase 'til Spring. I'm seriously considering getting an E46 M3 in the Spring instead......decisions, decisions.

Getting an E46 in the spring is only going to make you want the new M3, shortly thereafter, when they show it for '07

I'll wait until the spring for my '06 IX RS

I don't think so.

I'm not too impressed with the Bangle-ized E90 design. If the circa 400 hp V8 does actually tempt me in 2007 (power corrupts ) then I can always trade-up.

I avoid BMW's for 1 reason - I don't want to be like all of the other ******* that drive them

Except Hans Stuck

Funnily enough, I agree wholeheartedly. I swore I would never own a BMW because of the owner demographics (and I'm still not 100% certain I will).

But one thing I know for sure, after spending many months on here researching the Evo, the ****** population isn't limited to BMW drivers.
