So according to Mitsus own press release the GSR will have SST or 5-spd. That's good to know. I'd rather have a GSR with SST than being forced to get a MR.

I know you can't translate one countries prices to another but thought this was interesting.

GSR SST 3,750,600.00 JPY = 32,584.04 USD
GSR 5MT 3,495,450.00 JPY = 30,378.90 USD
RS 5MT 2,997,750.00 JPY = 26,060.06 USD

If you took the JDM pricing literally as an indicator of what the USDM pricing would be, it is actually cheaper than the USDM IX MSRP pricing! I can always dream.

Yeah only because 4g63 was thrown around for 15 years.

Anyways this was pulled from the website

Three trims:

1. RS 5M/T 1420kg (3131lb) 2.855M yen
2. GSR 5M/T 1520kg (3351lb) 3.329M yen
3. GSR TC-SST 1540kg (3395lb) 3.572M yen

So the car isnt even that much heavier, for all that crap they added that is impressive. I like how one of the articles say it doesnt feel like a Tin Can Anymore (old evos) LOL That says alot for how much STIFFER it is

The look grows on me even more, but i still want to see it perform. It seems like there are gonna be alot more options packages with even more wheel combinations.

I caught that too, but most likely just a typo (mitsu needs to stop being cheap and start hiring someone who can get the facts right upon press release)

Realistically more like 13" front and 12" rear

So the X RS is almost 100lbs lighter than the IX RS? Sounds like Mitsu is trying to please the hardcore fans there. Weight difference vs MR is almost 270lbs!! Should be huge performance deltas there...

Curb Weight IX: 3,263 lbs (EV0) 3,219 lbs (EVO RS) 3,285 lbs (EVO MR)

Curb Weight:
1. RS 5M/T 1420kg (3131lb)
2. GSR 5M/T 1520kg (3351lb)
3. GSR TC-SST 1540kg (3395lb)
