just got an email from my dealer...
How will it work? Once they get a car and make it to your name, do you only have the choice to buy or not buy that specific car? Can you pick colors and options?
Up here, (in lower mainland bc), the dealers have a list (along with between 500-2000 deposit), and when it is your turn, they call you and let you know packages, options blah blah blah and pricing. Up to and including that point, you can withdraw with no penalty, (fully refundable deposit). HOWEVER, I've been told this at 3 dealers, (didn't bother asking any others), that the first "couple" will be the 5 speed manual models, no SST yet. So, for the first one or two cars that each dealer gets, they will make it available to the people on the preorder list...if person #1 doesn't want, then person 2 gets dibs etc. As I said, this is only going to happen for the first one or two Evos at each dealer since those will be "preconfigured". After that, its up to the individuals.

Do you guys really think Mitsu will bother with a RS model, considering a RS price point would probably come close to stepping on the toes of the upcoming Ralliart Lancer model, which will also be AWD turbo?
