What a letdown about only having cruise as an option to the MR!

WTF is that. I feel that there trying to target a different crowd, which is cool and all but damn.
Haha with income targets like that they shouldn't even let you finance evo X's, cash only please.

This past friday I was at my local Mitsu dealer talking to one of the salesman, Kenny Dong. He said that earlier in the week their Sales Rep had very little news about the new X coming out. Only tid bits of info through the whole meeting he said. They are being allocated 2 Evo X's at the end of Junuary. They don't even know which color or trim level the 2 cars will be as of yet. As for pricing, he was able to tell me that it would be about a $2k-$3K increase from prior trim levels on our current model VIII and IX's. So yes, an "apprx" $35k for GSR and "apprx" $39k+ for an MR. And this "appx" pricing makes a lot of sense. Consider how much more has gone into this new Evolution. Plus the highly advanced AWD system this car now has. And then all the "options" that we could not get in past models. This slight jump in price is nothing compared to how much more we get as consumers to this new Evo. They added these ammentities to broaden their projected market of buyers. I think most people don't understand that it is to our benefit that we get these options available now. To get the performance that this Evo has, and the options available, and get it in another brand vehicle, look how much more you have to spend. Other than the competitor STi. Which some people are partial to the 5-door body style Subaru chose. We still have a sedan. On another note, when I bought my '03 VIII, I only had 2 choices for options. Sunroof and Spoiler. I opt for both. In '04 they added optional leather and sound. In '05 they added the RS, MR, new colors....you see the point I am trying to make. We may only get the GSR and the MR now. But wait a little and in a year or two, we may get the RS. We may get different color options that are not currently available on some trim levels. My 2003 VIII compared to a 2006 IX is completely different. Hence "Evolution." This car will probably change every year like almost all past model Evo's. I look forward to this new series. The best has yet to come

_Tim

Yep, not to mention that the 135i is looming on the horizon and should be cheaper than a 335i.

I don't know if it'll be in production with a sunroof, but they definitley put a sunroof in one of the prototypes.

I got it from this thread.
