I think that the 2010 will look very close to the 2008 version with very minor changes.

There is no way subie is not upping the hp on the sti, just no way given the 09 wrx's performance. Mitsu has to do something to keep up. Besides, within 100 miles of the Los Angeles area, there are 180 Evo's still up for sale. Oh, and about 5 stis. So unless Subie is shipping out a lot less STI's, hatch = win despite the superior performance of the Evo.

The 11 has been announced and it appears it'll come running on only 3 cylinders. It'll come straight from the factory with the short block already grenaded since it will now be made out of tin vs the aluminum they've chosen with the X. Can't wait

that deal was for the 08 STi's, I was talking about the 09's. Besides, Mitsu has the same deal for the Evo's plus 60 months 0%apr.

Edit:
When you compare the MIEV to that of the original evo the differnce isn't too much:

Evo IX

Power Output: 289 bhp
0-100: 12.7

Evo IX MIEV
Power Output: 268
0-100: 7.4
Those numbers for a regular IX are off. The car averages a 1/4 mile in 13.6 seconds at 100 mph. Where did you get 12.7 @ 100mph?

the IX averages ~13.3 @103mph in the quarter, so 12.7 to 100 is about right
