You are soooo right. After recently shopping for another car, none of the salesmen know **** about their model lineup. Motor Trend, C & D and Automobile should be required reading for ALL car salespeople. I knew about 10 times more about the cars I was looking at simply by reading a couple of mags for 10 minutes a week! Most of those people sure suck at their "careers."
Ya so have I, they are an overpriced nissan, just like the 33 and 34 I've driven them all. I daily drove an r34 for a little while as well. The Vette mod for mod will rip the gtr a new one, you can make a vette much faster, much cheaper. The Vette is also quite a bit lighter and more nimble. If you would have paid attention when you drove the gtr you would have noticed it feels like a fat pig, albeit a well performing fat pig. The Vette adds inches to your dick, the gtr well we all know about asians.

If I were to pick one negative thing on one of the best engines to come from ANYWHERE EVER. Id say valve clearance. Not an issue for me now but the first time my 94 Talon TSI needed to be tore down was because the belt skipped timing just enough to require the head to come off.
