so the other day i was talking to a buddie and he head that 2012 they are coming out with a eclipse that's awd and has about the same motor as a vr4. this is the rumor i was told and i curious to see if the go through with this idea, be honest its stupid to get rid of the evo

That is the Mitsubishi Concept RA... that concept car is almost 5 years old.

 

Combining the two that's retarded.The Eclipse will be discontinued after 2012 that's why their making a 2012 SE trim to send it out with a bang.

Its funny reading the articles and they talk about the reasons the eclipse has lost favor with young buyers. Maybe because its nothing more than a sports car on the outside and family car inside. Who wants to buy all the evo's? Who grabs up the older turbo and awd eclipses? Yep the younger buyer. Whats the power plant in an evo? The drivetrain? I guess we are all just chomping at the bit for a hybrid evo built like a toyota prius. Oh yeah thats were the markets at!
