Yeah I know, but I think they were talking about the upcoming 06' version of the car....it might have been the the spec-c too. I am not really sure...it is a small article in automobile magazine about suby's answer to the MR.

I would almost put money on it that Yaw control makes it over.

What is the point of having a sensor if you're not implementing it into a sensor-feedback-control loop?

I don't need the answer, as I already know, just pointing out that adding a sensor with no feedback to the control loop is a waste of money. In other words, if Suby is adding a sensor, they're adding some type of control as well. It may not function how we would expect (i.e. it's different from how AYC works) but it's not just a yaw sensor sitting in the middle of the car.

I understand just adding a sensor would be pointless without something to recieve the output from that sensor. What I was trying to get at was kinda what you said. Is that it isn't as dedicated as the mits setup. The mits system is a quite a bit more complex than that....using 5 sensors on the car to get inputs from. Thats all I was trying to state.

I happen to have the joy and "Pain" of driving an JDM Evo VI, and I have to say AYC aint really that cool IMO. Unless the all new "ACD" helps it out a lot Mitsu can keep it. AYC is just one more thing to go wrong with my Evo.

I just want to clear this up once and for all...there will NOT be AYC on the 05 EVO's. Regardless of what the parts catalog says. I have talked to a number of people at Mitsu and they have all said it is NOT coming.

I never said that the MR was gonna have AYC. All I am try'n to say is that AYC aint all that great, and that Mitsu is doing the US a favor by not putting on the new Evos.

If they did put AYC in the new Evos there would be a hella lot more "Mitsu Warranty's SUCKS" Post

It would be nice that they make it option though - especially for those of us who are not all about drag racing. Though, the SAYC is supposedly far improved over the AYC - and plus the fact that it works together with ACD now probably improves the efficiency of the system.

I personaly think the ACD is more than enough. I myself am not into the whole drag racing thing, but somtimes when I am cornering pretty hard and let off the gas the slightest hair the AYC tends to want to over correct. And that aint cool.

I don't understand why Mitsubishi would not incorporate the S-AYC and ACD. We have one of the largest car markets in the world and it would only benefit them to bring us a car that is just as good as the JDM MR. I guess we will have to wait and see. I would kill to have an MR with all the fixings, that would be so cool. That would be the deciding factor for me and a lot of current 03 owners.

Sorry Oldschool, didn't mean to imply that you were stating that it did have it. Just wanted to stop the AYC stuff since there were so many people that thought it was a possibility.
