even though the MR is great in every aspect, the car will still be a market opening for mitsu and subaru. every single evo has been sold in the u.s. that was around what???4500 of them. correct me im not even close. the MR is the booster for mitsu. the awd turbo window has been open for only 3 years and sales are very successful. BUT remember...... the evolutions is not what keeps the mitsu company alive. its the galant and the eclipses/spyders. evos came in 2nd throughout this year.
for all the haters out there....... theres nothing u can say or complain about to stop it from comming so y not just...... dont say a thing.

Although at first, the thought of you at eight worrying about the evolution being introduced in the US was funny to me. I'm 41 now. I thought back to when I was eight and how much I longed for a GT40 or a Cobra. So yes we are a couple of generations apart but both are car nuts.
Mitsu had sold 5700+ '03s as of a month ago. Pretty close to their targets. If the some of the dealers weren't so greedy early on, I think they would have sold out sooner.
They have already announced the end of Galant production. The last recovery plan that I saw said that they were refocusing on sports cars and trucks. It makes sense since this is where they really excell. The chance of Mitsubishi ever competing with the Accord and Camry market over the long haul is slim. I say accept your nitch and dominate it.
I can't imagine why they did not name the US car the VIII. Think of how easy an ad presenting the race history could have been. Instead they placed all there hopes on that stupid movie. To bad they have a good story to tell.

I am obviously a troll, I mean come on...all I do is post all day about how Evo's suck and Pinto's are the king of the road. I'm always bragging about the fact that I've driven most cars you guys have only seen in movies....(oh wait, I think this is the first time I mentioned that).

I have no problem with that, I didn't come here to make friends as I will most likey never meet any of you in person. I came to here to learn about our cars and post my opinion on related subjects. But there seems to be a lot of people here who get up in arms when they disagree with what I have to say.

Cirrusly is way too f*cked up to be comming into this community and thinking just because hes never going to meet any of us in person that its okay to be a dick. if he was here to actually "learn" about cars and post his opinion on certian topics, then there is no WAY me nor at least 5 others would be pointing out how much of a dick he is, usually people here are pretty good about letting people have their opinions, but its obvious he's stating more then just that
