Rev limit set to 7,000 reguardless?

Well, I'm running the Stage 2 map from TurboXS for the 1.7 software. I have my rev limit set at 78 (7,800), but it hits the rev limiter at 7k for some reason. How do I fix this?

Pretty good, I need to hook up my EGT gauge and the tuner pro still. I love the launch control! The whole thing about it still pulling then hitting a brick wall at 7krpm kinda ruins it :/

Do you know what your MAF reading is at 7000rpm? Did you set any of the other open loop parameters or the Launch control?

The reason I'm curious about the MAF reading is because you can set a maximum MAF value in the open loop control so the ECU doesnt get "upset" if you exceed what it expects to see... If you can capture your logs from the event it should be pretty easy to tell...

I actually do have a log of it, but it's 11k big. I'll try to find just that part in the 6000-range. I was running the stageII map from turboxs. Launch control was enabled, and set at 5,500rpm.

how do you like the launch controll. I can't wait to get a piggyback and tune my car and have launch controll.

Launch control is a pretty cool feature.. You "may" be able to get slightly lower 60's with out it but Lc is VERY consistant..

The beauty of LC IMO is Flat shifting.. Never letting your foot off the gas and staying in boost between shifts is BIG..

Oh and how dare you call the utec a piggy back

I figured it out with the logs. I'm a moron. I rest the tip of my foot on the clutch RIGHT when i'm about to shift (like 1/2 second). Right at 6,900rpm it says "LCM" then decelerates on the logs. ROFL.

hahaha.. Ya know I just assumed that it wasn't launch control.. Its funny you mention it, I have my clutch switch adjustment so it takes more than just resting on the pedal to "Kick it in" so I never would have seen it.. LOL

Haha. How do you adjust that switch? It kind of catches you offguard.

Its got a threaded body, I think, you should be able to move it slightly.. I only moved it enough to not engage when my foot was resting on the clutch pedal (even though I don't drive like that) But now that I think about it.. I don't think I would have ever needed to adjust it if I didn't need to screw around with it at one time.

I find it funny that launch control kicked in about 50rpm before redline everytime. if I could speed up my clutch depressing to that, it would be for some mean shifts (btw launch control at 5,500rpm sucks for flatfoot shifting).
