I am not sure if you have a wideband yourself, but if you do, you may try to lean out the 3250 (during spools) and 4000 (peak boost) rpm zone. It seems to be a tad rich and you should be able to lean it out a bit to gain more power. I guess you didn't intentionally richen it up to fight knocks, right?

Low results...... consirvetive tuning ! My car made 280 with out cams and with out boost controllers, or even no piggy back on a DD dyno ! Get a custom tune......

Which gear pull do you guys punch into DLL and do the graphs with?

With data for 2nd gear I get 265hp/251lbft and in 3rd 285hp/272lbft uncorrected which comes down to like 245hp and 261hp weather corrected.

Argh. Had a long post and my browser got messed up. Will try it again...

Raise cylinder pressure without knocking? Timing has made the biggest difference in my TQ #s (aside from boost level). Seriously, just add timing slowly until it knocks or TQ no longer increases, whichever happens first. If/when you see knock start to occur, richen it up some and/or back the timing off a little bit for a safety margin. Problem for me is that I like to make at least 3-4 pulls to confirm a gain/loss/no knock, so this is a slow-going process on the street just using DLL....would be much quicker on a dyno.

I use 3rd gear....don't think 2nd really has enough data to make it worthwhile. 300lbs/no correction.

Yeah, 91 octane must suck Looks like 3500ish is more like peak boost, but the 96-97 octane pull looks a little later. I see the AFR spike @ 4000 that you are talking about...could be tuning/on purpose. Also looks like a little more tuning could be done on the high octane pull between 4250-4750 where the TQ curve dips and then goes back up. Did it knock there or something?

Hmm.. I was going to add a few things, but BlackEVO summed it up pretty well and suggested pretty much the same thing I would..

Keep in mind that you might be able to drop boost slightly and alter timing slightly and make a little bit better gains..

I do agree with the conservative approach, I'd much rather see you leave a little bit on the table than have a problem with the engine.

Also, 3rd gear runs still have decent gearing, and the length of the data sample provides more data, therefore should be a more accurate representation of power.

the variance in the number between SOR's second and Third gear run were likely due to the correction profile he used.. The amount of drivetrain losses changes with different gears, I doubt the first and second gear loss calculations is very accurate (since the original CAR file was something I threw together based on best guesses and spent the most time on third gear pulls and therefore that would likely be most accurate)

UTEC sounds like a very powerful tool, I have the turboback in right now, and i was planning on getting a couple of mods before getting the UTEC and getting it tuned. What should i get?

try to tune out your torque dip around 4200-5000.
