THe BEST ECUs out there.

Here I would like to discuss mainly on the map resolution of Fuel and timing for various ECUs. (piggyback or stand-alone)

With a good tuner, and an ECU with a good fuel and timing map resolution will result in the best tune.

I am looking to get an ecu in the future and doing some research. I am hoping to settle with a piggy back ecu instead of a standalone. Personal preference. But I am looking for an ecu with a better resolution than the F-Con SZ (16x24) with more than 2 maps.

I would like your opinions.

Thank you

What do you consider "best tune"? Drivability? Power? Too vague.

It's more important to find someone:

1) whom you know will take all necessary precautions to prevent engine damage
2) knows what he's doing
3) gives you an honest accounting for what he can or cannot do

The rest is secondary.

If you are tight budget, use UNICHIP
If you plant on medium tune(cams and basic tune),use HKS F Con SZ
If you plant to super hard tune(Rebulit engine amd Big *** Turbo),use HKS F Con V Pro or Apex'i Power FC.
