what to do about Cold Start???
what to do about Cold Start???
is there a stand alone ecu that has cold start?
i live in Tulsa, we have really crazy weather.
one day it can be 70 and then it can hit 100 during the summer
and in the winter it can be in the 30's one day and then it can hit 70 the next day
with weather that moves like that i would wondering what i should do for a Standalone??
or should i just go piggy-back?

I live in SW Missouri so I understand what you are talking about. Some standalone auto configure this feature and some you have to setup. I run the AEM so I can only completely speak for it and yes it has a cold start feature that you can tune for temps from -40 to 248 degrees so it isn't a problem what so ever.

Ya , but umm No. Why would they make it if you had to retune it anytime you had a drastic weather change. I haven't touched mine since I set it up, no issues for me.
autronic does, mine is turned off though, and i have gotton the car started on 10 deg days.. just remeber youre if running a stand-alone, its for race cars.. just like a gt35r isnt for a daily driver... if you wanna go bigger with tuning there will be sacrifices..
